Elizabeth Dunning

 

Elizabeth Dunning has taught in Ontario since 1970, teaching mathematics, science (mostly physics) and special education in both elementary and secondary panels in six school boards. She served as Department Head for fourteen years in both rural and urban schools, and has been involved in writing and editing curricula, and in teacher training at several universities. Elizabeth received an honours B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc. from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and a B.Ed. from FEUT. She pursued additional studies in physics from the University of Waterloo and in theology from the Lateran University. She currently instructs senior physics and honour specialist physics additional qualification courses for Queen’s University CTE. Elizabeth is interested in mathematical modelling in high school science and in developing physics experiments using found materials for students in the primary grades.
